We have lived in Texas for Many years. But it was not until we sold the Blueberry Farm that we were able to spend our summers in the Pacific Northwest. For about 10 years or so it was perfect. We would leave Texas in late April or May and return Mid September. Last month we headed for some place cooler but with doctor appointments, we were only able to make it to Central Texas. Spent a week in San Saba, got a couple or rounds of golf in, spent another week in Comanche just touring around. Lots of history in those areas. Then doctor appointments got in the way and we had to return to home base. Hopefully soon, we can clear another month off our calendar, so we can make it across Texas to some place cool enough to enjoy some outdoor time.
An aside off topic, we have owned motorhomes since 2005. The IH-45 we have now is absolutely the best driving machine we have owned. What a dream to drive. Thank You Foretravel.
